Clinical Assistant

I’m born and raised in Recife (Brazil). I moved to Florida in 2019. I’m a lucky husband and very proud dad of two wonderful kids. I’m Physical Therapist in Brazil since 2004, specialized in Pulmonary Therapy. Back in Brazil, I’ve worked for 10 years at a hospital and I also have worked for a home care service for 10 years. For 7 years I worked as a university professor, teaching Physical Therapists about health insurances routine. At least, but most important part of my professional Iife, I’m owner and clinical director of a PT clinic since 2004. I’m still learning English and I’m currently studying to get my PT license in Florida.

What Regis loves about the job

I get to work with patients to ensure they are doing the correct exercise and I keep them motivated to complete the entire exercise program each session.

I keep the clinic organized, with tables, chairs, and all equipment ready for use. I also help guide patients during the execution of exercises, under the supervision of the team of PTs.

The environment is super pleasant, the patients and co-workers are really nice and this makes our routine very happy

What Regis loves to do:

I love being with my family, especially accompanying my children during soccer tournaments. Almost every weekend we travel around Florida (sometimes we also go to other states) for soccer.
