Alex Wilson, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

I was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, and moved to North Carolina when I was 7. In 2013, I made my way to Austin, Texas, where I started my studies at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, majoring in biology.

But life threw me a curveball. A few semesters in, I had to undergo back surgery. This experience was a turning point for me. It opened my eyes to the world of physical therapy and sparked a deep passion for helping others heal and regain their strength. That’s when I knew I wanted to dedicate my career to physical therapy, making a real difference in people’s lives.

I pursued this newfound passion at Eastern Florida State College, where I completed my Associate’s degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant in May 2021. Just a few months later, I proudly passed my board exam and earned my PTA license, ready to make a real difference in people’s lives.
