Helen Johnson, Physical Therapist Assistant

Physical Therapist Assistant, Ocoee Clinical Director

I grew up in Yorkshire, England with a very strong background in theater and dance. I danced from a very young age at a high competitive level. In my teen years I toured with National Youth Dance Company of Great Britain whilst also attending the London Contemporary Dance School, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and a scholarship to further study Dance at Harvard University (my first experience of the USA).

After performing and traveling for several years I met my husband – Mark, a native New Yorker. We have lived in Florida now for over 20 years and have a wonderful teenage son – Brandon. I graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2013 from Polk State College, and have had the pleasure of working at Hohman Rehab since 2017.
