Myra Cotto

Patient Care Coordinator

Myra was born and raised in New York City and has had the opportunity to live in three different states as well as another country. Her professional journey began at age 18, when she started her first job in Havana, Cuba.

She brings extensive experience in healthcare, including 17 years as a pharmacy technician. After working in retail pharmacy, Myra transitioned into the medical office setting, where she has spent the past 10 years building experience in front desk operations and administrative support.

Her diverse background and many years in healthcare have given Myra a strong understanding of patient service, organization, and the importance of creating a welcoming and supportive experience for every patient.

Myra appreciates the inclusive and supportive environment at Hohman Rehab, as well as the structure and teamwork within the organization. She feels that she has truly become part of a family, which makes coming to work each day both enjoyable and rewarding.

What Myra loves to do:

Outside of work, Myra enjoys spending quality time at home with family and friends. She is also passionate about supporting suicide prevention efforts, a cause that is especially meaningful and close to her heart.
